Nubbs

Nubbs's life up to this point has not always been a happy one.  Poor Nubbs was picked up as a stray as if that wasn't bad enough, he only has three legs.

Someone was cruel enough to drop this man off and not give it a second thought with only three legs it was sure he'd have met his demise soon had his rescuer not happened to come along and pick him up.

Nubbs is a domestic short hair born about 6/07, he gets along well with cats, kids, and dogs.  Even more lucky he was picked up before a non cat friendly dog came along.   Nubbs is also FIV/FeLV negative.

If you are interested in Nubbs please contact the vet clinic where he is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.

Benjamin

This is Benjamin.

He is a very sweet medium hair black kitty who is looking for his forever home.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative and was born about 10/08.

He is one affectionate man.

He gets along with cats, dogs, and children. This great guy was pulled from a local animal control just in the nick of time, which is a great thing for him seeing as black cats are usually the last to find a home, which probably would have meant bad things for this wonderful guy.

Could you fulfill this handsome man's wish by giving him a forever home? If you are interested in him please contact the vet clinic where he is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.

Morris

If you are interested in Morris, please contact the vet clinic where he is staying.

Park Forest Animal Hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.

Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.

Ethel & Lucy

Lucy and Ethel are  sweet Tortoiseshell sisters who were born about  7/09.

They are spayed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative.

They were rescued from animal control in the nick of time.

Ethel had a horrible infection in her tail that couldn't be treated so she had to have her tail amputated.

They are very sweet girls who'd love a home together or separate. I get along with other cats and dogs and would do fine with children.

If you are interested in one of these girls, please contact the vet clinic where she is staying, Park Forest Animal Hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.

Do Not contact CAAWS about her as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling her adoption.

Myrtle

Myrtle is a sweet muted torti who was born about 9/09, she is spayed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative.

She does well with other cats, but is not to fond of dogs so a home without a dog would be best.

Myrtle was left at a vet clinic and is now in need of a new FOREVER home, one that will never get rid of her again.

If you are interested in Myrtle please contact the vet clinic where she is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about her as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling her adoption.

Mac

Meet Mac. Mac is declawed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and born 1/05.

He's a very talkative boy and loves to cuddle and be petted.   Mac has been shifted from Pillar to Post the last year.  He moved to Louisiana with his dad and brother from up North, he thought it was just another step with his family, but he was soon to find out otherwise.  Dad's new roommate didn't like cats and told him he had to get rid of one of the boys so Mac's brother Link was given to a very wonderful family where he's taken good care of.

Well Mac was sad to have been separated from his brother but at least he still had dad or so he thought.  Then dad and roommate were moving and roommate signed a lease on an apartment that didn't allow animals.  Mac was placed with a friend for a temporary foster home while dad found a new apartment. Dad never found a new apartment, the foster couldn't keep Mac so he was placed in another foster, then another and finally in the foster home he's in now.

Mac just wants some stability in his life and a family of his own.  Can you give this sweet boy what he desires, he's been through a lot and deserves his furever home that will keep him and won't shift him around to many homes.  If interested in Mac email emma665196@hotmail.com .

Lila

Meet Lila.

She is a sweet little Gray/White Domestic shorthair kitty. She does well with Dogs, Cats, and children. Lila somehow got an injury to her eye prior to being rescued. The vet had to remove her left eye, but she does just fine with one.

Lila was born about 8/09. She is spayed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative.

Won't you give this little girl a home and show her life can be good. If you are interested in Lila, please contact the vet clinic where she is staying, Park Forest Animal Hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about her as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling her adoption.

Shenene

She-ne-ne is a 21 month F/S Calico.  She-ne-ne is what we affectionately refer to as a special needs case. She is a sweet cat that does well around dogs (and we think kids but are not sure). She is FIV positive so she needs to be the only cat in the family. She also has reoccurring Urinary Tract Infection problems and is on a special diet that she needs to stay on for it.

She-ne-ne can be seen at Jones Creek Animal Hospital (225) 753-0527 at 5525 Jones Creek Rd Baton Rouge, LA .

Peggy

If you are interested in Peggy, please contact the vet clinic where she is staying, Park Forest Animal Hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.
Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling her adoption.

Our thanks to all of the Vets that help CAAWS and contribute their resources for helping stray animals.
