Caz

Meet Caz a rowdy orange and white domestic short hair kitten in need of a home.

Caz was born about 4/1/10, is neutered, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative.  No one knows how Caz ended up homeless if he was given up by his owner or born a stray; one thing is for sure he needs a new home.

This guy loves to play, in every picture he is swatting at the camera, or a hand.  He would do best without young children since he loves to play and swat.

If you are ready to give this active little man a forever home please contact the vet clinic where he is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.

MiMi

I am looking for a loving home for my cat.  Just found out that my son is allergic to our cat.

Her name is MiMi.  She is a female and about 11 years old.

She is very sweet and loving but would prefer to be in a home with older children (8 + years or older).

She has always been an indoor cat therefore she is very healthy.  She is up to date on all vaccinations.  I bring her to the vet every November for annual shots, check-up, etc.  She weighs about 8.5 lbs.

Please give me a call if you can find a foster home for her. We will miss her very much!  Thank you for your assistance and for the great work of your organization.

Contact CAAWS for more information.

Gustav Kittens

Contact Linda at  lmccormick@cox.net or leave a message on my cell phone at 225-335-7300 and I will call them back.

All of the seven kittens have been spayed and/or neutered.  There are six females and one male.  The yellow tabby is the only male.  There are three Tortoise and three shiny Black females with white tips on their toes.

They were born the first part of August, 2008 before the storm hit in September from a feral/stray momma cat.  My husband and I brought them inside our home the day of the storm for safety reasons, where they have been since September 1, 2008.

They are all very socialized and pretty much "lap cats."  The torties are especially affectionate as well as the smallest black cat "Lil Bit."

They have all had their shots and been tested for everything and are all negative!  I have the paper work from my Vet where I paid for these extra fees and as proof of having been done.  All they will need are their boosters next year.

I have four inside cats of my own and really need to have these adopted.  I have a male Tonkinese that is very unhappy and totally stressed out with our new guests so you can see the need for finding these kittens good homes quickly.  Whoever adopts them will have to keep them as inside kittens since they have not learned to exist outside nor do I believe they should be allowed to roam outside for their own safety.

Contact Linda at  lmccormick@cox.net or leave a message on my cell phone at 225-335-7300 and I will call them back.

Tiger Lilly

Meet Tiger Lilly a female Siamese/Abyssinian mix who was born about 6/09.

Tiger Lilly was picked up as a stray so pregnant she gave birth a few days after being rescued. Her kittens (in the picture) were born 6/23/10.

Tiger Lilly and her kittens will be available for adoption once the kittens are weaned.  Tiger Lilly and the kittens will be altered prior to adoption.

If you are interested in Tiger Lilly or her kittens please contact the vet clinic where they are staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE. Do Not contact CAAWS about them as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling the adoption.

Whitey

Hi, My name is Whitey.

Bet you're wondering how I got that name. Well when I was a youngster I had one white whisker. The whisker fell out, but the name stuck.

What'd I'd really like to get stuck with is my very own forever home, think you could fill the bill?

I am neutered, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, was born about 9/06. I get along great with other cats and dogs.

If you are interested in Whitey please contact the vet clinic where he is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.

Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.

Burnadette

Poor Burnadette is so named, because some cruel person decided it'd be fun to torture her and burn her.

This poor baby's back and ears are burned. She is a bit shy around humans, but who can blame her she hasn't exactly had the greatest experience with people.

She is declawed, up to date on shots, spayed and FIV/FeLV negative.

If you are interested in her please contact the vet clinic where she is staying, Park forest animal hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.

Do Not contact CAAWS about her as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling her adoption.

Eddie

Meet Eddie. This handsome single male is looking for a home to call his own.

If you enjoy companionship and having company this could be your guy. He loves people and getting petted.

Eddie was born about 3/09 is up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative and neutered so this man will only have eyes for his new family.

Eddie does fine with other cats and children, but is scared of dogs due to his previous life on the streets so a home without dogs is best for him.

If you are looking for a male companion in your life and you are interested in Eddie, please contact the vet clinic where he is staying, Park Forest Animal Hospital at 225-275-2284. Please ASK FOR CANDICE.

Do Not contact CAAWS about him as this is a courtesy listing for the vet clinic and they will be handling his adoption.
